Research-Based Education for teachers and researchers
The 2016-Project 'Research-Based Education' works on research-based teaching across all faculties of the University of Copenhagen. Among other things, the project aims to gather and disseminate a dynamic inspiration catalogue in which teachers and researchers can share experiences about projects, course programmes, or methodologies that can bring research into teaching and vice versa.
This page presents selected models on research-based education in order to inspire integration of research and teaching into the organisation of course and research programmes.
Among other things, the project aims to gather and disseminate a dynamic inspiration catalogue in which teachers and researchers can share experiences about projects, course programmes, or methodologies that can bring research into teaching and vice versa. You can inspiration from specific examples from teachers who describe how they integrate research and teaching in our inspiration catalogue.
Contribute to the inspiration catalogue
If you have experience in RBE which can inspire to strengthening the research-based education at the University of Copenhagen, you are welcome to contribute to the inspiration catalogue. You can do this by completing the template for inspiration catalogue entries and sending it to Werner Schäfke. All forms submitted will be reviewed by an editorial group in the RBE project.
The aim of the 2016-Project is also to promote research-based education by involving and integrating students in research processes. As a researcher at the University of Copenhagen, you can link students from the University of Copenhagen as research interns to your research project. A research intern can be a student from your own subject, but can also be a student from another department who can contribute other methodologies and theories to the research project. Find inspiration on how research internships can take place at the University of Copenhagen by watching videos about students in research internships (in Danish).
Apply for a research intern!
If you think that a research intern could be an interesting addition to your project, we encourage you to write an advertisement at UCPH Projects & Jobs.
